Technical / functional information
Choosing a magnesium ingredient starts with the dose the finished product declares. The elemental magnesium content of the ingredient decides the amount of powder per unit, and that in turn drives tablet size, capsule fill weight or the mouthfeel of a powder blend.
Then come the parameters the process feels: solubility in the chosen matrix, flow and compressibility, moisture uptake, colour and any interaction with the other actives in the formula.
Set the specification before the first sample is sent, and test the sample in the real matrix. Documents narrow the list of candidates; the decision follows the customer’s own pilot work.
Documents
The specification, a representative COA, a TDS and a SDS are sent on request, from the first enquiry. The batch COA, the stability report and the raw test data follow once the product and the batch are fixed.
A COA reports the results of the tests it covers, for the product or the batch it names. It does not by itself confirm the molecular structure of the ingredient or a chelated state.

Request a sample or a quotation
Ask for this product as a sample or a quotation. Name the specification, the application and the market you are working to, and we will answer with the specification it is supplied against and the documents behind it.
Usually the specification is confirmed before a sample is arranged.
