Packaging
Standard export packaging, with customisation on request
Packaging is part of the order: it changes the cost, the quantity and the lead time, so it is agreed before production.
Standard export packaging is used by default, and samples travel by international courier.
Where a different net weight, a different label, an inner liner or another outer packaging is required, the requirement is evaluated as a customisation and quoted separately, with its own cost, quantity and lead time.
Label content and batch identification are agreed with your order, so that the pack, the label, the net weight and the packing information match the goods actually shipped.
A single pack size and net weight is not published for every product. The packing, the net weight and the minimum order quantity are confirmed for your order, together with the product and the destination.
Shipping
How the goods travel
The shipping method and the Incoterm are confirmed on your order, because they change both the cost and who carries which responsibility.
| International courier | Samples and small consignments. |
|---|---|
| Air freight | Commonly used for smaller orders. |
| Sea freight | Larger orders, compared on cost and transit time. |
| Incoterms | EXW, FOB and CIF/CFR as standard. DDP is confirmed per order. |
| Shipping method and Incoterm | Confirmed on your order, together with the quotation. |
Documents with the goods
What travels with the shipment
The paperwork is checked against the goods actually shipped before dispatch.
- The commercial invoice.
- The packing information.
- The shipping documents for the agreed method.
- The product documents you asked for with the order.
Where a document belongs to a batch, it is issued for the lot that was actually shipped, so the documents and the goods can be read against each other on arrival.
A market we serve does not mean the product can be imported there without conditions. For DDP the import rules, customs responsibility, taxes and carrier coverage are checked for that destination before the order is accepted.
Shelf life and storage conditions are confirmed per product. Where the product record carries them, they are published on the product page; otherwise ask for them with your quotation.

Quote the packing and the route
Name the product, the quantity, the packaging and the destination. The quotation states the packing, the shipping method, the Incoterm and the lead time that apply.
EXW, FOB and CIF/CFR are supported as standard; DDP is confirmed per order.
